Our History

THE FACULTY OF SECRETARIES is the second oldest body of company secretaries in the world and contains an ever growing body of corporate and community organisation expertise and goodwill.  Founded in Guildford in 1930 and now working worldwide.

We offer a range of support, ranging from members assisting small local projects to major national work, and everything in between.

Most importantly we can help your organisation help operate corporately but in a friendly and liberal environment..

Members around the Country are designated

Fellows (FFCS)  Corporate Secretary or Certified Public Secretary

Associates (AFCS) Corporate Secretary or in certain approved cases Certified Public Secretary

Licentiates (LFCS) as Licentiate Secretary or Incorporated Book-keeper (dependent on qualification and register.

 Member (MACS) as Association of Corporate Secretaries register

Initial Membership Application forms are attached for submission.  Detailed syllabii are available from the registered office. We respectfully request that you enclose a Stamped Addressed Envelope if at all possible.
